How Satan Works Part 1

“The Scripture says that we are not to let Satan take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of his devices,” 2 Corinthians 2:11. Welcome to our study of the nature of Satan, God's enemy and man's. Today we're thinking about how Satan tries to work and to get into my life and to get into yours and destroy us in a spiritual sense. The Bible affirms Satan has many tools he uses in his arsenal of destruction. 2 Corinthians 2:11, Paul said to Christians in the first century, "Lest he take advantage of you, for we are not ignorant of his devices." Two important things are taught from that text. Number one, Satan wants to take advantage of you. He wants to have his way with you, but to prevent that, don't be ignorant of his devices. Know ahead of time the way Satan tries to work, so that when I see that coming, there's a big red flashing sign that kind of jumps out at me that says, "Wake up. Satan's trying to get in your life this way, and he is trying to get in mine." We know of Satan that he has a lot of devices.
