During this episode of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA®) Stager Talk podcast CEO Shell Brodnax talked to professional home stager and Real Estate Agent, Tracy Molendi. Tracy is the founder and owner of Simply Organized & Staged (S.O.S.), as well as an active RESA® Member (who has attended all but one RESACON). Tracy stresses the significance of educating real estate agents about the value of home staging to enhance their business prospects. She shares that she had grown tired of answering the same questions from sellers and realized that by educating her agents, they could sell her services for her and answer questions from sellers more effectively. This led Tracy to devise a plan to ensure that her agents had the necessary knowledge to answer questions about her services, leading to improved communication with sellers. Tracy Molendi warned that agents who lack knowledge of staging could prevent sales from happening by either providing inaccurate answers or discouraging clients from using staging. To build their business and satisfy clients, Molendi knew she needed to dress the serious need for agents to be educated on the value of home staging. She further pointed out that agents are not taught about staging during their licensing process, making it crucial for stagers to educate them.
