Teju Ravilochan is a Forbes 30 Under 30 social entrepreneur and TEDx speaker. He co-founded Uncharted and later started GatherFor out of a desire to intentionally create a mutual support system for people experiencing poverty. Growing up, Teju was struck by the extreme gap between wealth and poverty, which led him to question the way the world works. He shares what he has learned from Indigenous and immigrant communities about the power of connection and why the Western focus on independence might be holding us back.
