How the Death of Leia Saved Ben Solo

In The Rise of SKywalker, Leia uses the Force to reach out to her son while he is engaged in a furious lightsaber duel with Rey on the ruins of the Death Star. Maz Kanata tells R2-D2 that this gesture will take all the strength Leia has left. And it does; Leia passes away after reaching her son. Some have wondered how such a simple gesture could cause Leia's death, but others have theorized that she used the Force to draw out the memory of Han Solo from Ben's mind, thus giving him the opportunity to achieve closure with his estranged father.
