"How The Mighty Have Fallen" Week 3 1 Samuel 10:1-27

Are you called by God? So often, we think of this phrase as being exclusively about full-time vocational ministry, as in, are you called to be a pastor? But the truth is that all of us are called. First and foremost, we are called to put our faith in Jesus Christ for our salvation. Second, through his Holy Spirit, God leads us personally to follow his will in certain ways. Maybe you are called to teach a Sunday School class, maybe you are called to share the gospel with a co-worker, or maybe you are called to send a note of encouragement to a friend. Whatever your calling, God will provide. Sunday, we will look at the calling that God put on Saul’s life and how He gave Saul assurance of that call. Through Saul’s experience, we will see how we can have assurance of our own callings.
