How they ran away | Summer Stories

Tommy and Billy, two eleven-year-old boys, decide to run away and become hunters in the mountains. They lose their lunch, misidentify a woodchuck as a raccoon, and get separated. Billy gets stuck in a tree while Tommy falls into a bear-pit. After a night of mishaps and fear, the boys are found by a search party, tired and humbled.
