from The Adviser Podcast Network · host Momentum Media

As a qualified accountant, financial planner and mortgage broker, Sova Financial broker Natasha Janssens holds the triad of tools needed to run her award-winning financial literacy program, Women with Cents. We catch up with Natasha to find out how she runs her two successful businesses. After having fled the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s, Canberra-based broker Natasha Janssens chose to become a qualified accountant to help her migrate to Australia. It was here that she discovered her passion for providing financial literacy education – and made the move to become a mortgage broker and financial planner, setting up her brokerage Sova Financial. When she was expecting her first child, Natasha joined local mothers' groups and started speaking about finances and mortgages after finding there was strong curiosity and interest from the groups. The interest led her to start Women with Cents, a financial literacy program for women, which has won the Women's Community Program of the Year at the Women in Finance Awards for the fourth year in a row this year. In this episode of Elite Broker, host Annie Kane sits down with Natasha to find out more about the Women with Cents program, the types of loans she's writing at Sova Financial, and how she manages two businesses as a single operator. Tune in to find out: - How she's reaching thousands of people through Women with Cents - How she chose her aggregator and mentor - Why she's expanding her financial literacy program to include men And much more!
