How to abide in Jesus when life feels uncertain and anxious

from Peace in His Presence: Hope for the Anxious Heart · host Michelle Diercks

Almost everywhere we go we hear about anxiety and overwhelm as we navigate through COVID 19. There are so many uncertainties as we try to make plans to go to church, school, travel, all of the normal activities we once participated in, we now have to look at differently.  It causes stress and worries to seep into our souls and we find ourselves worn and weary from our brains having to think through situations we never had to think through before. This season on the podcast, I am looking at verses that will help us to Pause in God's Presence so we can remember who God is and remember who we are as His children.  Tara Cole (Click on her name to go to her website) joins me on the podcast to talk about Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."  We also talk about her book Abide: 40 Ways to Focus on Jesus Daily (Click on the book title to check it out on Amazon.)
