Today's episode is about the conjugation of the some irregular Slovak verbs in the past tense. Then you will practice them in short sentences. You will also learn how to ask “Did you travel abroad?” in Slovak. Episode notesToday, we are going to look at the first group of slightly irregular verbs, that is: the verbs with ending -ovať in the infinitive, and conjugate some of them in the past tense. For example: cestovať (to travel), raňajkovať (to have breakfast), obedovať (to have lunch), oslavovať (to celebrate), vinšovať (to wish), pracovať (to work), ďakovať (to thank), and so on. Then I will use them in short sentences. You will also learn how to ask “Did you travel abroad?” in Slovak.
