When Instagram first started, you could only do 3 things in the app: post square photos, like square photos, and comment on square photos. Eventually this stream of squares would become known as The Feed, and over the years Instagram would add feature after feature; providing creators with more ways to share content. Fast forward to present day, Instagram now has 5 main features for creating content on their platform: feed, stories, reels, IGTV, and livestreams. Feeling overwhelmed yet? It can be hard to figure out what type of content to focus on creating when there are so many different format options. So today I’m going to be sharing with you some tips for creating the perfect balance of varied content, and telling you how I plan my content for my own Instagram account.
