How to balance exercise and healthy eating as a busy mom

from The Strong[HER] Way | Healthy nutrition and habits for moms, routines, strength training for women · host Alisha Carlson, Fitness and Nutrition Coach for Moms

Send us Fan MailHey friend! Happy Monday.  This week we are talking all about how to balance exercise and healthy eating as a busy mom. This comes up for all of the women I work with. They are busy running their households, their businesses, or their kids around, and often, feel like they have little or no time left to take care of themselves. They've tried 'just getting up earlier' only to find their kids also get up with them..(I've been there) A lot of the time they just end up feeling more frustrated and annoyed. And still not exercising or making healthier choices around food. It's time we ditch the idea we have to make all of the changes at once. That you have to do it all perfectly, and that you need your day to go according to your plan in order for you to be successful in this area of your life. You'll be the most successful at this when you:- drop perfectionism and all or nothing thinking-do what you can do each day-stop putting pressure on yourself to make all the changes all at once-and, you focus on making small changes, consistently.
