How To Be Content

Contentment - Freedom from worry or restlessness: - A peaceful perspective.Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. No you wouldn’t!Covetousness - A desire for what others have. - You must not covet your neighbors… Exodus 20:17 For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. (Love it and / to live it)Submission to the purpose and plan of God is critical to a life of contentment. Let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Colossians 3:23 NLTChoosing Contentment Choice # 5 - Trust - - It’s an inside job! Contentment is only found in a trusting surrendered relationship with JesusA greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the LORD will be enriched. Proverbs 28:25 ESVDon’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
