How to BE Disciplined

What goes through your mind when you think about the words “Be Disciplined”? My immediate thought is, "Yeah we have to be disciplined… it's a very important part of doing something significant… to figure out how to BE disciplined to BE successful." But then at a second glance when you separate the two words, “Be” and “Disciplined,” they seem to sort of contradict one another right? When I think of BE, I think of someone who is just there, sort of just hanging out, chillin a little. However, discipline requires you to DO something. So, how can you just BE if you’re DOING something.
