Her responsibilities include directing the management of investment portfolios for retirement plans and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Melanie co-founded the Women's Wealth Connection of WA.  Elizabeth L. Brasher serves as a client consultant at WA Assessment. She enjoys working with clients holistically in all seasons of their lives. Additionally, Elizabeth is also the Practice Leader of  Women's Wealth Connection of WA Asset Management.   10 Steps to Becoming Financially Savvy: Firstly, make sure you get familiar with your entire financial picture and understand what assets you have. Secondly, you should identify your goals and make sure they are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely). Thirdly, prioritize your cash flow and put it into three buckets (give, save, and live).  Next, review your insurance.  Additionally, review credit cards and ensure your current credit cards suit your needs. Next, review your investment accounts and make sure your risk tolerance lines up with your investment goals. After that, examine your beneficiary designations.  Evaluate your estate plan and determine whether it still fits your needs.
