How to be Obedient to Jesus

What happens when God tells you to go, but He doesn’t give you the whole plan? A year ago, I left my entire life in Boston, including my friends, spiritual family, church community, and everything familiar, because I believed the Lord was calling me to St. Petersburg, Florida. Florida was never part of my plan. But when the Lord spoke, I had a peace that didn’t come from understanding. I had to learn what it really means to hear God’s voice, trust His direction, and obey Him even when I don’t know what comes next. And saying yes to God didn’t mean everything suddenly became easy. It meant fasting and prayer. Waiting for His timing. Learning to keep some things between me and Jesus. Releasing the need for validation. Walking through discomfort. Trusting Him when His voice felt quiet. And discovering that sometimes the hardest part of following God is not saying yes to the call, but continuing to trust Him after you’ve already gone. If you’re asking God, “What is Your will for me?” or wondering whether you really heard Him, this episode is for you.
