After 5 years Alan Berg and his wife bought the two magazine franchises they operated and was a publisher for the next 5 years.  After The Knot purchased Wedding Pages (the publishing company who they helped operate), Alan managed East Coast sales teams and quickly became Vice President of Sales, running a sales team of 50+ reps around the country. Alan was the main speaker for The Knot at conferences for wedding professionals and quickly became a staple for any industry conference. He oversaw the hiring and training of new sales reps and created a new Customer Relations Manager team. After over 11 years with The Knot, as Vice President of Local Sales Operations and The Knot Market Intelligence Alan made the decision to leave The Knot and become an independent speaker, author and consultant. He now consults and does sales training for WeddingWire, the leading wedding technology company, with websites in 15 countries around the world.
