Lace Flowers has had a life filled with trauma and uncertainty. From an abusive relationship in her childhood that led to a pattern of several abusive relationships in her adolescence and into adulthood, suffering a near-fatal car accident, and a boyfriend who committed suicide.  Lace Flowers is exactly who I needed to hear from this week, as suicide awareness month is coming to a close.
