Yoga teachers will learn how to skillfully integrate the universal wisdom of Ayurveda into their group classes in order to adapt offerings based on seasons, as well as how to create progressive yoga series based on the key principles of Ayurveda. This is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and understand the intersection between yoga and Ayurveda - two complimentary Vedic sciences.Jessica Bugra is an Ayurvedic counselor, registered acupuncturist, life coach and yoga teacher. In this training, she will provide you with an introduction to the basic principles of ayurveda, guide you through an activity to help you understand your unique dosha, and share insights on what the wisdom of ayurveda tells us about circadian and seasonal rhythms.Alexandria Waycott is an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500), with over 14 years of teaching experience. She runs 200-hour yoga teacher training programs and advanced continuing education courses. She will take you through 2-hour morning practices where you’ll have the opportunity to embody key Ayurvedic teachings.
