from The Jake Dunlap Show · host Richard RB Botto, Jake Dunlap

This week’s guest grew up always interested in theater and film, especially interested in the business aspect of the industry. Little did he know he would later in his life found the largest online platform/marketplace that provides networking and training opportunities for entertainment creatives worldwide. Richard “RB” Botto is this week’s guest on “The Jake Dunlap Show.” RB is the grandchild to 1st and 2nd Generation Italian immigrants. Growing up in Staten Island where he learned many hard lessons, his mother taught him that “everything is possible”, and his father was a Pharmaceutical executive who made many sacrifices working late nights and weekends. During his Pharmaceutical school studies, he continued in his theater career, taking writing/acting classes, and performed in numerous shows. One day, a professor convinced him to leave Pharmacy school after complementing his writing and creative skills. As he took small theater roles around NYC, he started RAZOR Magazine to pay the bills. RAZOR Magazine was a national men’s lifestyle magazine with 1.5M readers in North America, with contributing authors such as Mark Cuban, Paul Haggis, and David Maet to name a few. In 2011, he Founded “Stage 32,” which is the world’s largest online networking and training platform for entertainment creatives, connecting ~ 1 Million members. They have been able to connect emerging talents to incredible opportunities in the industry, and partner with streaming platforms such as Netflix to host workshops. Accomplishments:#1 Best-Selling Author “Crowdsourcing For Filmmakers: Indie Film and the Power of the Crowd”Sundance-Award-Winning FeatureKeynote SpeakerTeaching Experiences (Filmmaking, Producing, Film Finance, Screenwriting, Social Media, Crowdfunding) to schools like Harvard, USC, and Columbia.Learn more about Jake Dunlap and Skaled by visiting the links below: Jake Dunlap:Personal Site - http://jakedunlap.com/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/jakedunlap/Twitter - https://twitter.com/JakeTDunlapInstagram - http://instagram.com/jake\_dunlap _Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/JakeTDunlap/ Skaled:Website - https://skaled.com/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/skaledYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsw\_03rSlbGQkeLGMGiDf4Q RB’s Social Links:Website: https://www.richardbotto.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rbwalksintoabar/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Personal-Blog/Richard-RB-Botto-535138127409793/Twitter: https://twitter.com/RBwalksintoabar?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5EauthorYouTube (Stage 32): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLYfsZwrQG3qzSshWjT4A9gLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/richardbotto/
