How to Continually Make Progress in the Gym | Minisode #42
from The More Than Fitness Podcast With Matt McLeod · host Matt McLeod
I would venture to say the majority of people walking into the gym don't have a plan. They may have a workout for the day, but not a plan that facilitates progress over the long-term. In this Minisode, I talk about why there's a difference between just sweating a lot and "feeling" like you got a good workout in, vs actually making real progress. Ideally, we could do all of the above, but sweat and feelings don't dictate legit progression. I also talk about safer and more effective ways to measure your progress over time, besides just adding weight to the bar and using crappy form. I think you'll get a lot out of this one and I hope you enjoy!
