It feels like just yesterday we were up all night with a newborn, and now they’re off living their own life. Time really does fly! Parenting has definitely been an adventure, hasn’t it? Mark and I have our different ways of doing things, which sometimes makes things interesting, to say the least. I’ve always been a bit more organised, while Mark’s approach is [the opposite], so we’ve had our fair share of “moments” figuring it out along the way. Then there’s the stuff that freaks us out—those little phobias that pop up once you become a parent. I swear, I never used to worry about half the things I do now. Whether it’s them getting hurt, catching something, or even just the general anxiety of letting go, those fears always seem to linger! And speaking of Mark, I’ll never forget his proposal. It was so him. He had this unique plan, and of course, something hilarious happened—because what could possibly go smoothly, right? It’s one of those stories we still laugh about today. Looking back, it’s wild to see how far we’ve come. From the chaos of raising a little one to now sending them off to uni… what a journey it’s been!
