How to create a successful startup - Guest Toby Skilton Founder Mutu & MenuAid

from SME & Entrepreneur Podcast · host Craig Murray

Toby's first startup Mutu began life as an app that allows you to lend and rent everyday items that would otherwise be collecting dust or be discarded as solid landfills. Mutu soon had a big pivot and rapidly grew into a tool to help large global multinational businesses. Toby and his partner Elise have also created MenuAid. MuneuAid is a seamless menu planning platform that makes mealtimes easier with weekly recipes, an editable shopping list, and flexible shopping options integrated with supermarkets that deliver your order to your door.  Safe to say that Toby has been met with his challenges; during our conversation, we discussed how he started creating apps (with no coding or app development experience) his process to develop a high-performing team; Plus we chatted about imposter syndrome, growth tactics, and some exciting new startups in NZ.
