Prof. Dr. Birgit Felden brings her experience from around 30 years as an entrepreneur, board member and active supervisory board member as she advises companies on strategic and financial issues and on family business governance. After getting her doctorate in law in Bonn, she founded a family business in 1995, where she was a board member until 2015 and a supervisory board member until 2018.    Since 2006, she has been head of the Entrepreneurship and Succession program and since 2008, she’s the founding director of the Research Institute for Entrepreneurship, SMEs and Family Businesses at the HWR Berlin, where she develops concepts and instruments for family businesses. She is an author, a speaker, and also a financial expert and entrepreneurial sparring partner on various supervisory and advisory boards since 1998.   Due to her many years of experience, Dr. Felden has an excellent network in companies, credit institutions, universities and politics
