How to Criticize the Supreme Court

Provost Christopher Eisgruber’83, Laurance S. Rockefeller Professor of Public Affairs in the Woodrow Wilson School and the University Center for Human Values, revisits the politically controversial case of Marbury v. Madison (1803) and its significance in forcing the important question of how to criticize the Supreme Court responsibly, in ways that are not reduced to mere statements of partisan political preference.
