Disappointment is a part of life, but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with, especially when it comes to things you were hoping would turn out (yes, this includes DIY projects!).  So how then do we deal with disappointment so that we aren't discouraged or lose our confidence? How do we manage our expectations so that we're realistic and practical instead of non-sensible?
