Decluttering your home makes it much easier to organise, tidy, clean, and maintain it. But there’s already so much going on in our lives as parents that the idea of taking on a decluttering project can be really overwhelming and feel like it will take ages. Maybe you’d like to go through your linen cupboard and declutter the extra towels and bedsheets that are crammed in there, making it hard to put things away neatly. or clear out your kitchen drawers so you only have the utensils you really need and can get them out and put them away again easily when you cook, or get rid of a bunch of broken or never-played-with kids toys now so you don’t end up with overflowing bedrooms at Christmas, or finally tackle the garage so that camping gear, car stuff, tools, and seasonal decorations all have a place to belong and don’t get lost or damaged. But who has a big chunk of time to commit to a project like that? How can you get it done when the kids are home with you? How do you stop it from becoming a huge mess halfway through that just makes you want to give up again? Today I'm sharing the easiest way to declutter any part of your home! ----- Mentioned in this episode: Simple Spring Clean checklist  ----- Enjoyed this episode? Beatrice Institute Podcast Ryan McDermott We're wandering between two worlds. Modernity as we knew it is passing away, and the next world is yet to be born. Like Dante, we are in a dark wood, struggling to know how to think and how to live. Virgil guided Dante with the light of natural reason, then Beatrice illuminated the path to Paradise with Christian revelation. Welcome to the Beatrice Institute Podcast, where Christian faith and reason illuminate the best of academic thinking and research. How should we think and live in this time between worlds? Also at the house are about a dozen children: younger cousins of the student and their friends of varying ages. The student, as much to amuse himself as to amuse the children, organises games and activities and tells stories. And the stories he tells are wild and fantastic. When his store of fairy tales and folk legends is exhausted he hits on the idea of retelling Greek Myths in his own style. We visit Tanglewood six times during the course of a year and hear six of the student's beautifully told stories: The Gorgon's Head, The Golden Touch, A Paradise of Children, The Three Golden Apples, The Miraculous Pitcher and The Chimaera.
