For this week’s read, I chose How to Dictator-Proof Your Money by Human Rights Foundation Chief Strategy Officer, Alex Gladsein. This article was posted to the Journal of Democracy in April 2024. If you notice anything about the article topics I’ve been choosing, I hope you notice that it’s less about “number go up” and more about the societal benefits. I feel this aspect of Bitcoin with a capital “B”, the network, is underrepresented in the mainstream media where bitcoin with a lowercase “b”, the asset, is overreported.
