How to ensure the advice industry can thrive in the future

On a new episode of the ifa Show, host Neil Griffiths is joined by Nigel Baker, founder of digital solution, Scientiam. Nigel joined the podcast to discuss the issues that are stopping the advice industry from not only surviving, but thriving. "There's obviously been the whole shake-up of the financial planning industry and that was needed, but a lot of people don't trust the industry," he said. "Therefore, they go online and try and find things and get stuck with… maybe some of it's good, some of it's bad. So, really what we want [is] that regulatory framework to be able to enable that advice process." On this episode, Nigel also discusses his opinion on the upcoming Quality of Advice Review, Scientiam's submission to Treasury and what the future of advice looks like.
