We cannot fight fire with fire. We fight the fire of conflicts and injustices with the water of empathy, humility, forgiveness etc. Merely punishing people won't help, we have to take to prevent the problem in the future. When we hate someone, we hate some part of ourselves as well/ In any kind of conflict or difference, there has to be a certain level of respect even if the person has done something very bad.
