How to Find Grace For Yourself and Your Business

from Flow Rising · host Flow Rising

In this episode, I sat down with my guest, executive coach Donna Star to talk about her personal journey from corporate to coach. We chatted about how giving yourself grace, finding other mentors, and delegating off tasks all help you be a better business owner.     All entrepreneurs understand what it means to be under pressure, but not necessarily how to give themselves grace while moving forward. Donna understands this type of pressure very well. Having been in the corporate world where the overachiever was praised, as an entrepreneur she quickly learned that being harder on herself was actually a bad thing for business.    Donna shares, "I recognize that in myself that I always felt like I had to be hard on myself that if I relaxed the gas pedal, took my pedal, you know, relax that a little bit, that I wouldn't be successful because I think we're deeply programmed to believe that if we don't push ourselves, we're lazy that the opposite of pushing is lazy. And we, we don't want it badly enough. And that's really fundamentally very old programming."    Are you moving from the corporate space into entrepreneurship and struggling to make the transition?  Tap here to connect with Donna for advice and help with being your best self so your business can thrive.  Looking to share your expertise with other business owners?  Sign up to be a guest right here on Flow Working The Entrepreneur's Podcast.
