In today's BHI episode I had the great pleasure of having Brittainy Lindsey and Rebecca Erickson on the show. In this episode, we discuss the many issues mental health therapists are going through when it comes to providing adequate care to their clients as well as taking care of themselves. We also get into issues with the lack of pay mental health professionals receive. We then get into different reasons why mental health practitioners leave community mental health. We then come up with different types of solutions that could solve these issues as well as fix the broken mental health system. We then add different ideas on how the mental health field and universities can better prepare graduate students to enter the field of mental health.
