In this week’s podcast we talk about getting your sparkle back with Sam Palmer, the founder of the on-line platform Midlife Makeover, through movement and exerciseIn the Book Collective we dig deep into Anita Diamant’s The Red Tent, and discover the character traits of the women in the red tent.The Foodie Collective cooks up an energising feast for our lunch and there’s also a bit of biscuit trivia for National Biscuit Day - May 29, from Jinty and Lou has an interesting money making scheme for windy menopausal women. Our guest today is Sam Palmer, creator and founder of the Online Platform, Midlife Makeover, which offers advice, coaching & support to women in peri menopause, menopause and beyond. Sam says she aims to “Give women back the confidence to live the life they want to live.” helping them to “Get their Sparkle back”. Sam tells us we don’t have to go to the gym to get our energy back and should think of exercising in bitesize blocks not in hours. Our bodies change around 40 years old and it is harder for us to keep our muscles and body strength to enable us to keep doing what we love, Sam gives us some simple exercises that we can do to keep our bodies moving.
