from The RV Entrepreneur · host RV LIFE

Are you interested in turning your niche blog into a money making machine?! Niche sites have significant earning potential, but to reach that point, you need to know how to successfully get one off the ground. Today we have the pleasure of speaking with Kristin Hanes, of The Wayward Home, from her sailboat in Mexico! Kristin is a former radio news journalist turned blogger, at The Wayward Home, who hopes to inspire and teach people how to live alternatively in an RV, campervan, sailboat or tiny home. She started her journey to tiny living in a Toyota Prius, and has since lived in a Chevy Astro minivan, a sailboat, and a DIY Sprinter van. She now splits her time between a Sprinter Van in the U.S. and a sailboat in Mexico. A true digital nomad! Kristin built her niche site from the ground up not knowing anything about online business, and five years later, averages 400,000 monthly pageviews, reaches 2.5 million people per year and brings in six figures of revenue from ads and affiliates alone! In this episode, Kristin shares her step by step process for successfully building, growing and scaling a niche site that earns multiple six figures per year! We'll also dive into the importance of SEO, keywords and how she feels about using AI. Kristin really is proof that creating a niche site is a great way to generate income while working as much or as little as you want. If you don't think it's possible to create a six figure income from blogging alone, this episode is for you!
