This thought process is a bad place to be in because it discredits us. It discredits our experience and it makes us feel like this attachment, respectful, gentle and responsive parenting means you have to forfeit your needs to meet your child’s. But I’m here to tell you that having it all in motherhood does not mean doing it all.
