Send a textdeJoly LaBrier is a life coach, author, speaker and artist who uses her life experiences to gently guide women to the joyful lives they deserve. Her company, deJoly’s Healing Arts, embraces authentic connection and healing wounds that may be hidden in plain sight. She has overcome severe childhood trauma, and believes healing can happen within a loving environment of supportive people, and a strong desire to work through blocks in our belief systems. Her latest book, Greeting the Day:Wisdom From My Gardens, is entirely different from her other three books on recovery from abuse. In this book she shares wisdom that comes from meditation and noticing the changes in her gardens. During our conversation, we learn how deJoly was able to find healing and move into a space of joyful living. deJoly is a big believer that we need to be able to lean into others, and to feel our feelings in order to heal. I can tell you that whatever she has done, has absolutely worked for her. Her face radiates light, and she has become the kind of person who leaves other people better than she finds them. You can find deJoly at: Website:  www.dejoly.com.   Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/dejoly.labrier/Instagram: dejolylabrier  Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/life-in-my-voice/id1717189467Mention this episode when you reach out, and receive a free half hour coaching consultation and $5 off any book on her website. *************************************If you're a woman who appreciates connecting with other women in community with vulnerability and compassion, please join us in the Solidarity Sister! The journey of life, as I have learned, isn't always a direct path to success and happiness. I'm traveling down life's winding roads, learning to navigate as I go. Alw Ukraine - History in the Making Emil Juhler When I started the conversation series ”Ukraine - History in the Making” I could have never imagined where this journey would lead me. It all started in March 2023 after I got home from an exchange stay in Chile and felt, that I had to do more for Ukraine, than what I did on my social media accounts and on the streets in the spring and summer of 2022. I think most of us remember that initial period after Ruzzia’s the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Speaking from a European/Danish point of view it was a time of big fear, desperation and uncertainty, but also a time of high hopes, energy and big solidarity. In the very first conversation of the show with Veronika Netrebenko, she says the following about the feelings of Ukrainians during the Maidan Revolution: ”We understood we gotta fight for it, and it was something totally different, we felt different, we felt that we need to fight for it”. To a certain degree I believe you can say the same about what happened within the hearts and mi Sisters Cracking Up Abby Rodman and Julie Howard Any woman in midlife knows the complexities of this time of life have the potential to crack us. Fortunately, there just as many things that crack us up…and keep us sane. We're midlife sisters, psychotherapist Abby Rodman and beauty expert and coach Julie Howard, and we want to talk about all of it. We're with you — commiserating, crying, raging, and, yes, laughing all along the way. And maybe, like us, you've got a sister to share it all with. If you don't, we might just be the sisters you've been looking for. We talk openly, honestly, and (hopefully) humorously about social and psychological topics that really matter like relationships, parenting, careers, aging, stress, sex, health, and mental health. Our goal is to listen, share, understand, enlighten, laugh and, most of all, figure out this crazy time of life together — like sisters.
