How to IGNORE Diet Season!

from The Emotional Eating (and Everything Else) Podcast

So it's January, and you know what that means:  diet season is in FULL GEAR.  I mean, diet season is always up and running--it never sleeps--but this is one of the times out of the year when it's just relentless.   And you may be feeling the pull.  It's really hard not to, isn't it?  But I'm begging you, don't do it!   Please don't start yet another diet! Why?  Well, we've talked about this in numerous other podcasts so feel free to go back and listen to those if you're wondering why I'm saying this.  But in a nutshell, they don't work long-term, they very often cause weight gain, they disconnect you from your body, they contribute to disordered eating and eating disorders, and they perpetuate the idea that only certain bodies are acceptable.  I cannot get behind any of that. On this weeks's episode, we're talking about how to avoid getting sucked into diet season.  I give you four suggestions on how to remain diet-free during one of the worst diet seasons of the year.  Take a listen!
