He also explains depth perception as it relates to the revelation we receive from God, revealing that a revelation is not always instantaneous but most times takes a long time to manifest. Again, he analyzes the process of revelation, interpretation, and application; outlining that revelation occurs in the spirit, interpretation in the soul, and application in the body.  Joseph further enlightens us about this, revealing that while we wait to manifest the revelation we received, we apply faith and patience. Faith comes in by believing God's word, while patience comes in waiting; patience means staying consistently the same in faith as when we first received God's word. Nonetheless, he also highlights the importance of using our common sense in this whole process while insisting on the need to read the Bible to the point that it begins to impact our emotions and decisions in life.
