A true desire to DO the will of God. Psalm 40:8 I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart. (NIV) A.  It’s God’s will for you to be saved. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (NIV) B.  It’s God’s will for you to be spirit-filled. Ephesians 5:15-18 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit (NIV) 3.  It’s God’s will for you to be set apart. 1 Thessalonians 4:3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified. (NIV) 4.  It’s God’s will for you to be thankful. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
