Then, are you delivering on them? The "delivering on expectations" is the glue that holds the whole thing together and is probably the most important part of the entire relationship. If you are setting patients up with great expectations, but you fail to deliver, you are leaving yourself in a much worse position than if you had not promised anything whatsoever.
