Henry even worked in a slaughter house and on a pig farm to experience meat production on the ‘frontline’, revealing how meat gets on our plate, few have had such graphic insight. Whilst dogs sleep in our beds, pigs are gassed using carbon monoxide. We chat about pets and the irony that although animals should teach us about nature, it seems that pets haven’t bridged this gap and that consumerism simply soars, compromising our perfect planet even more, even to the expense of our pets happiness. The conversation is about awareness and why we need to make change, before we lose even more wild species, and the gap between ideals and reality goes too far.
