How to "Love Where You Ride!"

from DF Connection · host Dirty Freehub

Does this mean smile and be happy and listen to some tunes as you ride? Or is it something else? Something bigger than just self? Not I, but we? In today's episode, we talk with Kait Boyle, who is the Co-Founder of Bikepacking Roots and the creator of the Love Where You Ride campaign. The campaign is an opportunity for backcountry cyclists to learn about their impact on the outdoors and how to minimize it. Bikepacking Roots partnered with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics to create the Love Where You Ride campaign Bikepacking Roots is an organization founded to support and advance bikepacking, the growth of a diverse bikepacking community, and access to and the conservation of the landscapes and public lands where cyclists ride.   The mission of Leave No Trace is to use the power of science, education and stewardship, to ensure a sustainable future for the outdoors and the planet. Our mission is to connect gravel cyclists to where they ride through stories about culture, history, people, places, and lands with the hope that they will become involved as advocates, volunteers, or donors with organizations that protect and preserve recreation spaces.
