The Bea Bold in Business podcast is a place where you are going to hear real, genuine, what's and all stories from some of the most exceptional people in business, and how they've succeeded anyway. If you are ready to show up in your business, if you are ready to be bold, if you are ready to learn from your mistakes, if you are ready to bounce back and become more resilient, this is a podcast for you. And me, Samantha Hearn, I cannot wait to welcome you, support you, empower and inspire you, and share with you the stories that sometimes don't get shared online, and give you this real refreshing approach on how building a business sometimes can be hard, sometimes involves failing, sometimes involves struggle, but you can still succeed anyway.

So welcome to the Bea Bold in Business podcast, and I cannot wait for you to take your invitation to be bold in your business too. Okay, we're going to talk about a topic that comes up all the time, and is what I'm known for, how to actually achieve consistent sales in your business without launching. And I've done trainings like this before, but let's do a recent one. So this is going to be an up-to-date version of how you can actually create consistent sales in your business without launching.

So I'm going to be giving you some strategies, talking with you through some things that you can be doing, and also addressing some myths and elephants in the room, because there are so many preconceived ideas, assumptions, and stigmas around what this can mean, and what this can look like for your business, as well as false impressions of what this actually entails. So if you see people online on their holidays, and they're like, oh, I've been sitting on this sun lounger and I've made 20k, or whilst I've been up in the air, I've made about a 10k hour, or whatever it might be, that hasn't happened without a lot of pre-work going into it. I've taken a month off and I've still had a 50k month. All of these type of content is incredible, but for you, it might be that we need to unpick how we have got to that point.

And so many people come to me and say, I want to hit 5k, 10k, 20k months, whatever it looks like. But for me, and you will know this if you spend time with me, consistency in that is key. So I don't want my clients to have 120k month and then 0, 0, 0 for the next three months. It's all about creating consistency in your finances, your wealth, and your profit, and all about sustaining a baseline of cash received versus sales made each month.

So what I mean by that is, when you are looking at your business from a sustainable point of view, what I would always recommend and want to avoid is being in a situation where you're needing to launch constantly. And I have so many friends that love launching, and launching is incredible. I'm not in any way saying or discrediting launching, but if you want a business that is built around organic sales that come in monthly, doesn't mean that you need to put in lots of energy into a challenge or a series or a master class, and doesn't create so much of a start, stop with your open-close cart and has this time pressure, then this might be a method that you want to look at when it comes to building your business. Okay, so it's less around the launch method.

So if you want to be in a situation where your business is able to sustain sustain 5K, 10K, 20K cash and months received, and we need to think about the prelude to that. So the first thing I want to say is, if you want to reach consistent XK month, whatever that is, there will always be pre-work that needs to go in. So for me, for example, at half past eight this morning, I signed a six month onto one client before the week had even started. But that has not happened without a lot of pre-work going in.

But this isn't always what you see online, the pre-work. You don't always see the pre to the post-celebration. And I'm very, very well aware of that. So what's really important for me is to give you the opportunity to learn and to become aware of what some of these strategies are, what some of these pre-work is, so that your business can become, yay!

So that your business can become a business that is sustained on financial profit, okay? And you are creating a baseline of predictability within your business. What I mean by that is, as well, which is super important is, if you want to avoid this feast and famine and you want to avoid months where you're making hardly anything, and then other months where it's just rolling in, and you want to create some balance within your business, then these are the types of things that are going to be really, really important. And if you haven't really wanted to support with this, I've actually got a training on this with a downloadable asset that you can use to plan your finances, look at your forecasting, look at your pricing, look at your conversion rates, and you can use that forever.

So if you want access to that, then I will put the link on my stories, or you can DM me, and I will send you the information for that training. It's 39 pounds, okay? So that's something you could do. But let's talk about the pre-work.

So, myths I just want to address. In order for you to get to a point where you're on holiday and you're making an extra amount of money, or you're in your sleep, you're signing clients, or whatever it is, things need to happen consistently in your business. And this is where there is a difference. And I've spoken about this on a live training before, the difference between a launch and a non-launch business model.

I have spoken about this before, but let me just reiterate some of the fundamentals. So for me, I run a non-launch business that allows me to sustain a multiple six-figure business every year in cash received, as well as take a multiple six-figure sales made every year, which then sets me up for the following year in the cash received, okay? I've set up two other businesses since running this business. I have, I've set up two other businesses since running this business.

I have assets, I have investments, I have set myself up in a financially wealthy situation without having to, every single month, have massive high-norches, okay? But there are some strategies behind this. So for me, to be able to sustain this level of consistency in sales and cash every month, there are things that I do to enable me to create that level of success, okay? And this would be different if you ran a launch model business.

But this training is about how you can actually create consistency within your sales. So, number one, we can spend a lot of time on the back end of our business thinking this is the priority. So things like your website, your funnels, your software, your email marketing, all of these things. However, no worries, I love to buy, no worries.

But if we don't have people coming in, all of those softwares essentially become void, okay? That nothing's happening to them. So you can have the best freebie, the best, lead magnet, the best software, the best website. If you don't have people coming into it, it's not serving its purpose.

So the front end part of your business is the thing that I really want us to focus on today. And this is a thing that even six years down the road, with the business that I got, I prioritize. So here's some of the things on the front end that I will always prioritize that enables me to create consistent sales within my business. So number one is community building.

So you need to have a priority on building a community online, because there's three reasons why this is really important. Using the online space, wherever that is, it doesn't have to be Instagram, is a free marketing platform. Why is that important? I'm all about profitability and sustainability.

If you are using a free marketing platform, you are maximizing your profits when you make sales conversions. You don't need to pay for your ads. You don't need to pay a marketing team. You don't have to pay for anything, because the place that you are on is free.

Instagram is a free platform. Facebook, TikTok, wherever you are, is a free platform. So optimizing your free online marketing tools is imperative for you to be able to create this maximization of a business that you want to build from a sales and profit point of view. So when we then talk about building your community, the reason this is important, building your community is important for a few reasons.

If you want to create organic lead generation, that means you don't want to have everyone just buying today, and then there's no one there. If you're constantly serving your audience, you're constantly serving your community, you're becoming the solution, you're providing fresh content, you're providing new ideas, being original, serving the problems that they have, you will have people flow in at different points. I have, for example, the person that said to me today, yes, it's worked together six months, has been in my community for years, but they didn't all come in at once. Does that make sense?

So that's the first reason that building a community is really important to create a consistency within your lead generation. Number two, it builds your credibility and authority in your online space. So by you showing up consistently and building a community, you are able to build credibility with those people. They trust you, you become reliable source, they see that you are producing content that is valuable for them, they want to come back and watch it or listen to it or read it, and therefore you become helpful to them, you become someone that they trust, and you are creating an impact on what they want to achieve.

So that's the second reason, it allows you to build credibility and authority in your community. The third reason, you can create opportunities that you didn't know were available to you. When you build a community, you can have peers in there that want to collaborate with you, invite into their retreat, guest speaker, their events, come onto their podcast, be interviewed in their memberships, run a joint course together. So you're in a situation where building your community and there's so many others, but that's just threefold why that can have an impact on your overall business success from a sales point of view, from a branding point of view, from an opportunities exposure point of view.

The second thing that's really important on the front end is to be building a trustworthy brand. So however good your website is, if you don't have people coming in, it's not going to move forward, you're not going to be creating traffic, you're not going to be generating momentum, and you're not going to be able to sell long term. So building a credible brand using your online marketing space is going to serve you for a few reasons. One, people will start to talk about you, refer you, tag you, share your content, and you will become known in your industry the longer you are in that space.

That is never going to do you any disservice if you want to create a continual growth in your business. Number three is making sure that you know what your audience needs. So creating a consistent connection with your audience, market research, polls, questions, lives, Q&As, whatever it might be. So, pardon me, when you are creating your offers, and you are selling, excuse me, you are selling or promoting, you are serving them what they need.

And this is the other thing, if we go to the back end, you can spend a lot of time creating your offer, making it perfect, building a sales page, whatever it is. If you don't even know if that's what your audience needs, you're building your business based on assumption. And when people then come back to you and say, this isn't where I'm at, this isn't what I need, or I'm looking for this, or I'm looking for that, whatever it might be, that's not because you don't know what you're doing, or you aren't in your power and you haven't got these strengths to offer people, because you don't know your audience. So, the third thing that's really important is understanding what your audience needs from you, and how you can serve it to them.

Now, let's get into the nitty-gritty. So, that's like the basics. I've spoken about all of that before. None of that is new, but it is, for me, essential.

So, I'll always start with that, because you cannot underestimate the time that you spend building those areas of your business. It will serve you infinite, infinite amount of time. If we start looking at how you're actually going to consistently sign comments, there's a few things that I would say if we were to create a recipe of ingredients or a formula that are really going to help you to do this. Number one, create an offer that has very, very clear promises and directives.

So, who is it for and how does it help them? And also, a way that you are able to continually market and promote this in your business. If you are not talking about your office, people don't know that they exist. And can also say, talking about it in one story doesn't count.

You need to create marketing strategy, an online marketing or sales strategy that supports your consistent sales in your business. And that isn't just what you post. So, it's to do with your language, it's to do with your direct marketing, it could be to do with your conversations that you're having, your DM conversations, your discovery call conversion strategies, your client journey, your onboarding process, all of these things amalgamate from you showing up online as the expert giving them the solution, talking about your offer. So, there's so many strategies that go into just that one element.

So, knowing your offer, the product, the promise and outcome, that's really important. Talking about it consistently and having a strategy that supports you with that, a marketing plan that supports you with that. The second thing that's really important is to align your business goals and growth. So, what you want to achieve in your business, what your financial goals are, where you're at, to align those things in two ways.

One, how you then sharpen your business, hey Maria, I hope you're well. One, how you sharpen your business, but to the top of client you want to attract. And I talk about this a lot. It's really important that we recognize that we need to think about are you being and showing up as your ideal client solution.

So, when you are showing up and talking about an offer, or when you are going in a story, you're creating content, what is your energy like? Who is it that you're trying to attract? Do you use specific language? Are you being direct in your invitation for someone to take action?

Do you present the outcomes and the results in a way that is desirable for others? Do you share your social proof consistently? Are you providing context to the wins that people have had, to the program that you offer, to why this is useful for them? Are you able to answer their questions and address the elephants in the room?

How are you doing this? Whether it's in your weekly email that you're sending out, whether it is in a free training, what are you doing in the way you're showing up that positions you as someone and an offer that is attracted to your ideal client? And this is really important. So, you could, for example, and I always say this, but I live through this as an example.

So, I have guides on this page, which are my Q1 client wins and my Q2 client wins just of 2022. I have highlights on my stories of all my client wins. My website has my social proof, testimonials, videos, all of that each of my different programs. My link on Instagram gives you access to all of my latest freebies.

I bring out a new free training at least once a quarter, but usually twice quarter. So, I am doing all of these things that I am inviting you to take the time to do. I also talk about my offers, talk about my client wins frequently, daily. I've created reels about my client results.

I've given context to how I can support my clients, what I do for myself, how I'm showing up for my clients, how this can help them, how it can help you. So, it's a really great opportunity. I mean, I'll probably give you 10 things that you could be doing there on a consistent basis that allows your audience to understand why them and why now. And these are two very important questions.

Why them and why now? Now, I have so much to say on this, but stay with me. I'm going to try and give you some other things in some really concise ways. And if you have questions, please please just share them in the comments and I will answer them for you.

Okay, so if you've got questions about how to actually consist of your clients, put them in the questions box to make. Hey, Briar. So, the other thing that's really important, again, you might have to watch this on the replay or listen back to this, but that's like 10 things you could be doing on a daily basis. Now, then it comes to looking at the strategies that you are using to invite the right people in.

For example, you will have people that are in a position to invest. You will have people that this isn't the right time. You will have people that say next time, yes, maybe let me think about it. You will have that.

Of course, you will definitely come back and take notes. But what's really important is to remember your offer, your pricing strategy, which hopefully you've got to support with when you're looking at your sales strategy, your pricing strategy, your marketing strategy, you know, we're not expected to know all of these things. And if they're not your sign of genius, having a mentor or a coach or someone to support you, why would you not do that? Because it's life, it will be life long beneficial for you.

But it's really important to remember, if you have the confidence in your offer, you have the confidence in your pricing, when someone says, no, we're not right now, that isn't the time to question yourself, we offer your price. It's the time to then look at, have I done a few things? Have I done enough to invite the right people in and be explicit and directly with my marketing and language? Have I shown up with an energy or holding space for that type of person to mirror back to them and reflect the expectation?

Have I talked about an offer enough and given it context, shown meaning, provided social proof, given wins, allowed them to see what this could do for them so that it doesn't come down to things like the investment, because I can see beyond that, they can see the benefit long term, those type of things. And then another question is, have I got the right audience? And in business, the other thing that's really important is, this isn't about quick wins. Well, for me, this is something that I stand by.

When I set up my first business in 2016, for six months, I didn't sell anything, I focused on building an audience and building a brand. In that six months, I did public speaking across the UK. I went to exhibitions, I went to networking events, I self published a book, I set up a Facebook group, I grew that organically to 2000 people, I did a live twice a week in that Facebook group, I connected in other Facebook groups, I was everywhere online and I still have a ton of jobs as a teacher. So for that first six months, for me, it was really important, I was building a community of the right people.

Then when I did start selling, I was selling something that was £47.97. But from that point, I have never stopped selling. The momentum has continued in my business. And we all know how difficult that could be, through COVID, all of these massive changes and experiences, my business has continued to grow sustainably and in profit.

Even though I've got a team, I've changed and updated my software, all of these things have happened because it wasn't about the quick win. Sometimes you have to make smart decisions, which mean you take a step back before you take a step forwards. So the bigger picture on this is if you're just chasing the sale or chasing the money, that's also going to be something that's going to be very hard to sustain. Whereas if you're always focusing on your community growth, your brand building, leading value, becoming a solution, having a pulse on what your audience needs, making sure that you're creating up from a space of originality, serving fresh content, allowing you to be innovative, all of these things are going to serve your business and your brand long term for a lot longer period of time.

But what's important to remember from a sales perspective then is, I know I'm literally going to have to watch this back, listen to this back, listen to this back, listen to this back, listen to this. The other thing that's really important is looking at your capacity for growth. So it's all good saying, you want to have 5K, 10K or 20K months, but we need some things to align with that. Your pricing structure then needs to align with what needs to bring in every month.

Your capacity and availability to the number of conversions needs to align with that. So that you're not working 24, 7 and then you burn out and you hate your business within three months and you're resentful working with your clients and then you just do that cycle over again. And if you want to create consistent sales, you don't want to get to a point where you're at capacity for three months in your class in anything. So this is when you diversify your products, that's when you start to look at other ways to serve your clients.

That's when you might look at your value now, you might look at a lower cost item, you might look at high cost item, you might look at a rear current payment plan for things. There's so many other ways that you can then strategically grow your business without increasing the amount in your workload in a week. But that comes in a separate training, how to consistently scale. But for this, we've looked at some fundamental front facing activities that you want to look at.

We've looked at examples of ways that you can sharpen position yourself. We've looked at things that you can actually share online, what you want to be doing with your actual product or program, how to communicate that with your audience, understanding what to share and how to share it. We've also looked at your pricing, understanding what you price yourself based on the goals that you have. I mean, there's a lot, there's a lot and this is an impromptu life I've just decided to come on and talk to you about office and conversations on that today.

But what I would love to do, like I said, you can watch on the replay, it's going to go on the podcast, you're going to have to listen to it whenever you want, is just find out if you have any questions, whilst you've got me live, do you have any questions around selling consistently, how to start making sales consistent, or how to scale your business? So, and whilst you're writing those questions, the other thing that's really important, if you haven't, and I'm just going to reiterate this, and you want access to the Sales Framework training, Forecastar and downloadable assets, DM me, the word sales, and I'll send you the link, 39 pounds, you get lifetime access and download your asset to actually learn how to start financially planning your business. But if you're in a situation where you are making X-mount and you want to scale that, then all of this is going to be important for you. If you're making no sales and you want to start, this is important.

If you're making consistent sales, but now you want to start with business, you can use this too. So, this is completely transferable. And my clients have R&A range of businesses in all coaches. I have dog trainers, psychotherapists, dentists, amissists, people like beauty salons, graphic designers, you know, cheerleading academies.

So, this is not in any way, just stand alone if you're in a coaching industry. The online marketing space can be used for everyone, it's a free marketing platform. And if you use it correctly, you can optimize your sales and your profit using a free platform. Why would you not want to do that?

So, if you are here live, I'm taking your silence as you're either profusely taking notes, frantically writing this down or just taking all any you don't have any questions right now. If you do and you're watching this on a replay, or you think about a question that you might have for me around how to make consistent sales online, like I said, this is just a quick 20 minute, there's so much more I can talk to you about. And if you do want, I've actually created two free trainings on how to make sales using our social media and how to make more sales consistently online. Just DM me free training, I will send you both of those as well, because they're master classes, you can watch them back whenever you want, you've got lifetime access.

So, you know, this is just a note taken, I love that Nicole. This is just a live on Instagram, you can have access to right now. If you want master classes, just message me free training, I'll send them to you. And if you want access to the paid training that sets nine pounds on all things financial forecasting and predictions and sales, all of that stuff with the downloadable template, just DM me the web sales.

If you are watching back and you have questions, just put them in the comments box, I have so much more that I can show you on this, and they're going to do more training this week. But I hope this is useful, Nicole, I love that we're taking notes, and I know I talk very quickly, I've got a lot to say, my brain works quickly. So, just come back and slow me down. The kids are so used to say that's all the time.

Mitch, I'll talk to you quickly. I just can't help myself. So, I hope this was useful. And if you do have questions and you want to DM me or just comment on this live and you actually can, and I can't wait to offer you more support around this topic, because I know it is, you know, the juiciest one of all.

You're so welcome, Nicole, seriously, you're so welcome, always. So, have an amazing rest of your Monday, start of June, start the halfway point of the year. And like I said, if you want access to more trainings on how you can start looking at things like filtering your clock, filtering your following, how to actually maximize what you're doing on sessionally, different from a following in a community conversion perspective, I've got training on that, a free training, and I've also got a free training on how to actually look at your sales as well. So, I've got lots of support around this topic, you know, this is what I do for myself, but it's what I do for my clients day in day out, you know, so every one of my clients has made that investment with me and some whilst working with me and continue to build profitable businesses outside of what they've ever been able to do before.

So, you know, breaking financial limits, creating more sales and success, creating more profit, moving house renovating, you know, so much traveling the world, leaving their jobs, you know, hiring their first office, investing up pension, setting up a second business, you know, it's so much, so much. So, this is what I do. So, if you do want support on this, then just reach out and I can answer any of your questions. Have an amazing rest of your day.

I will see you on some more free trainings very soon.
