How to make internet more affordable in Africa

How much do you spend on Internet Data every week or month? Do you know if the price of internet data where you are is affordable?   According to the UN, internet access is considered affordable when the cost of 1 gig is less than 2% of your gross monthly income. Many Africans spend 5.7% of their gross monthly income on data.   How can we make internet data affordable across Africa?   The immediate past President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) and the National Coordinator for the Alliance for Affordable Internet in Nigeria, Olu Teniola, shares his thoughts here.
