Can this be the thrilling Tuesday you say this can be? This is the Daily Disturbance podcast with Anthony Pangilinan. Yes, this can be that day for you and me. So it's been a great start or perhaps a late start or your kind of hate start?

Well, loosen up. You're not alone. The key this Tuesday is to keep going. If you can hear the truth you've spoken twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools or watch the things you gave your life to broken and stoop and build them up with worn-out tools, if you can make one heap of all your winnings and risk them at one turn of pitch and toss and lose and start again at your beginnings and never breathe a word about your loss.

Rudyard Kipling's If, just part of it, I've memorized that by heart. This is one poem that kept me going at some of the most challenging periods of my, guess what, college life. Well, learning from is ongoing, so I still draw inspiration from If. So we forgive ourselves and others, and we forget even on this Tuesday.

Not that we failed to remember. We simply don't allow the mistakes of the Monday or the weekend of the past to make us re... regret those moments. To forget is to decide not to allow the memory of those same mistakes to hurt us twice.

Tamana. Sobra na. Itigil na. But it may not be your problem.

The problem perhaps is of others that disrupts your already busy week. Well, consider the words of Liam Dawn of ClassDojo, a multimillion educational tech company. If you find a problem that people talk about as a serious problem in their lives, you can take that leap into developing a solution. So a problem or opportunity discovered on a Monday can be a restart on Tuesday.

Revision, re-strategize, reinforce, renegotiate, recalibrate, re-everything. I remember running the Boston Marathon, the last of the six world marathon majors on my bucket list, about two or three years ago. Within the first 10 kilometers of that 42 kilometer race, I knew I hadn't fully recovered from my twisted ankle from training, just a few weeks to race day. With no intention of quitting, with every intention of finishing, it was exactly just that.

Revision, re-strategize, reinforce, renegotiate, recalibrate. And certainly the prayer for divine re-intervention. The key this Tuesday is to stay focused on the vision or the re-vision while adjusting the execution given what, the remaining distance, your available resources, and the maximum time you're given to finish the race. So this Tuesday, you've got typically, what, four days of work to go and loads of work still pouring in.

Well, stay focused on the key deliverables and insist on maintaining the process and the means you are committed to and at peace with. No end-justifying-the-means thinking as that type of compromise sucks the life out of you and me as we do more and more and more and enjoy it less and less and less. So today you are in between running and adjusting your week plans. And that is good.

Don't wait until you have all the answers, Zoe Barak of ZapRX advises us, because you will never have all the answers. And stick to the approach that works with you best. Christina Aguilera, I'm a bit of a night owl, she says, because that's when I feel the most creative and alive. Stay true to yourself this Tuesday.

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken, right? And again, from the book Wild at Heart by John Eldridge, a quote attributed, however, to Howard Thurman. Don't ask yourself what the world needs.

Instead, this Tuesday, ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that. Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive today, this Tuesday, and go do that because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
