How to Meet Your Needs & Your Baby’s Needs Without Sleep Training
from The Resting in Motherhood Podcast · host Brittni
Have you noticed the lie or the narrative that if we don't sleep train we can't take care of ourselves – we're going to be a slave to our child's needs, or we're never going to have time for ourselves. I'm not just demonizing the sleep training industry for encouraging you to take time for yourself, but what I don't like is the fact that they are making you feel like you have to choose between either taking care of yourself or meeting your children's needs. I'm here to say, you can have both. You can meet your needs, you can take care of yourself, you can thrive in motherhood while still meeting your child's needs, while still being a gentle, respectful, attachment centered parent. You can still co-sleep, you can still contact nap, you can still nurse to sleep, etc. while taking care of yourself and you can't thrive in motherhood. So that's what this episode is about today – how you can meet your child's needs and parent in a way that feels good to you and meet your needs. I’m also sharing the next evolution of Resting in Motherhood and how I’m excited to serve mamas in an even deeper respect in the coming months!Connect with me on Instagram: @resting_in_motherhood or visit the show’s site here.Register for the FREE masterclass: The 4 Secrets to Thriving in Motherhood MasterclassWork with Brittni:View current 1:1 Call and/or Email support services herePurchase the comprehensive sleep course, Resting in the First YearBook a 15 Minute Discovery Call hereCheck out additional workshops and guides hereThe Resting in Motherhood Podcast is produced by Heart Centered Podcasting.Learn more and join The Confident Mom's Collective here.
