As High-Performers, we're constantly seeking growth and are eager to live into our full potential! But by doing that, one of the biggest challenges is how to not take the things that other people say and do personally. So many people struggle with this ESPECIALLY when we're growing and crushing it in life. The reason is that, when you're growing and being all that you can be, some people around you will have insecurities, feel jealousy or even envy that you're doing so many great things and they may not feel that they are. They lash out and you start to think to yourself: There must be something wrong with me. I messed up. I'm not good enough.  OR you even accept the good things that people say! Yes, taking things personally isn't just about the bad things people say and do but also the good things people say and do. The fundamental understanding is that everybody is in their own world. Everything that everybody says or does is a direct reflection of what is happening inside of them. It's not because of you. If people are nice to you, that's because they feel good inside. But then if they suddenly shift to being rude or negative to you for whatever reason, it's still about what's happening inside of them. Whether it's "good" or "bad" behavior, don't take it personally. Obviously, I'm talking to the person that is growing and being the best version of themselves they can possibly be. When you are being a solid human being (being honest and truthful, having integrity, pursuing your dreams, and expressing love to others) you'll have no reason to take things personally because you understand that everyone is in their own world. You're not in charge of what other people think and say. You're only in charge of you. When you take things personally (either good or bad) you are at the mercy of what other people are feeling and you take in their emotions. If it's something negative, you just ingested their poison and now it's your poison. Not taking things personally is what free's you from the outside world. You can genuinely be YOU. You can feel free inside. You get to make life be what you want it to be. Where in your life can you practice not taking things personally? As High-Performers, we're constantly seeking growth and are eager to live into our full potential!

But by doing that, one of the biggest challenges is how to not take the things that other people say and do personally.

So many people struggle with this ESPECIALLY when we're growing and crushing it in life.

The reason is that, when you're growing and being all that you can be, some people around you will have insecurities, feel jealousy or even envy that you're doing so many great things and they may not feel that they are.

They lash out and you start to think to yourself:

There must be something wrong with me.

Not taking things personally is what free's you from the outside world.

You can genuinely be YOU.

You can feel free inside.

You get to make life be what you want it to be.
