If you're interested in getting into investment banking, private equity, or venture capital, but didn't get the grades you needed to get in, don't fret. There are still ways to make it happen. 1. Take the unconventional route. 2. Write to CEOs and board members of the firm you want to work for and ask to speak with them about internships or entry-level positions. 3. Take an alternate route—like working for a non-profit that's respected within that industry—and then leverage it later on. 4.
