from Mom Stuff Coffee Shop- Rebuilding Life After Trauma · host Kay-Kay Smith

The Fear of Failure Why do we fear failure? 1. We tried it and it didn't work 2. We think it's just too hard 3. We've been operating in fear for a long time 4. We interpret this feeling, this way of thinking, to be who we are 5. In other words, we bring all of our failures in the current moment. I've tried so many things that just didn't work out 1. I tried making x amount of dollars when I first started out in the beauty industry ( I use to count the squares on the floor while my co-worker had all the clients) 2. I tried real estate. The problem was, I was caught between a growing business and finding the time to build another business in between. I failed. 3. I tried being a rapper when I was a teenager. I loved music, dancing, and just that whole 90's vibe, and of course I failed. 4. As a mom, I tried methods that just didn't work individually for each one of my children. 5. Fear had it's ugly foot in the door early in my life, and after a series of failures, I begin to feel like fear was so engrained, I stop trying all together. In today's episode, we go into some tools tips and strategies to help you overcome fear of failure.
