How to Remain in the Land

In 1 Samuel 25, David faces one of his greatest tests. Samuel, the prophet who guided him, has died, and David is weary from exile. When insulted by Nabal, David's anger nearly drives him to vengeance, but God intervenes through Abigail, a woman of wisdom and humility. The Lord stops David from sin and reminds him that remaining in the land of promise means trusting divine justice rather than human pride. This sermon explores how God disciplines His people in mercy, restrains them from destruction, and teaches them to rest in His providence.
