How To Repent

The only thing the lost sinner does to enter the Kingdom of God is to repent. This means that the unbelieving sinner, in the moment of their faith in Christ, turns from sin and self and places their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. That’s it. That’s their part. God does all of the rest. We are simply commanded to repent. For many Christians, they think little of any repentance after being saved. Yet Scripture reveals that those who are truly saved will live ongoing in hearts postured with repentance. This Truth Shot explores what place repentance plays in the life of a Jesus-follower. The bottom line question remains, “Are we repenting of sin as Christians in the manner that God’s Word prescribes?
